What's The Meaning of My Veteran's Commemorative Coin?
Support our Warriors in Need — Challenge them to Stay Alive
Together, Wellness Wishes and Victory for Veterans are addressing an important cause: veterans, their families and communities, and we’re celebrating the end of 2019 with a special Veterans Package Raffle. With each ticket purchased, you'll receive a Warriors for Life commemorative support coin. But what does that coin represent? How does it help veterans in need? Funding from the coins directly support the on-line support group Warriors for Life. Read on to find out more about this amazing group led by Col (Ret) Mikel Burroughs:
What is "Warriors for Life" (WFL) Virtual Group Support All About?
The foundation of "Warriors for Life" (WFL) Virtual Group Support Community Services is to bring together individuals that need support not just once a month at the VA or with their Primary Care Provider, but to provide ongoing social engagement, "Healing Through Faith," encouragement, and hope weekly by "Sharing and Caring" among others who've been down their same road. It doesn't matter what type of Invisible or Physical Disability WFL was designed to be there weekly to provide virtual support and community services from the comfort of your own home.
The WFL Virtual Group Support Community Services allows members to join in on the go or at home or really any location that has WiFi or Internet service as they please and connect from a variety of modern technologies which includes the cell phone, (Android or iPhone), Laptop, iPad, Mac, or PC.
What is WFL all about? It's about a Non-Profit, Victory for Vetarans (VFV) and a dedicated group of volunteers that have come together to provide awesome peer-to-peer support through a virtual helping hand and a smiling face. Every week they are there to share information after researching different topics and subjects that connect with the participants no matter what the invisible or physical disabilities may be. Everyone has a different or unique story to tell and share and through this process of connectivity healing is impacted in a positive way, friendships are built that will last a lifetime, and a network of people are connected that care about each other and their journey toward healing and peace of mind.
The program is not designed to replace anyone's Primary Care Provider or administrator diagnoses, or prescribe any type of medication; it is a supplement to your current care. It is just another holistic social engagement platform with veterans, first responders, and civilian supporters helping each other through positive and caring dialogue weekly.
WFL is easy to connect with weekly through a platform call RingCentral which allows us to have over 100 participants on any given evening and unlimited time to provide support.
We encourage you join us for the free sponsored program and support platform provided by Victory for Veterans (VFV). Come give us a "test drive" and please invite and encourage those individuals you know that can use our support to connect with us on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or "Healing Through Faith" Tuesdays.
We're always looking for more volunteer facilitators to expand into Wednesday and Thursday evenings and double our coverage (6) nights weekly with additional support throughout the nation and worldwide. We currently have members joining us from the Philippines and Australia and we can reach out to anyone across the globe that has Internet capabilities.
