Keep the Spiral Turning: Bridge Funding for Wellness Wishes

The Vision is Ready. The Timing is Now. The Gap is Real.
In 2011, my partner Matt and I founded Wellness Wishes with a broad mission: to create regenerative solutions for people, animals, and communities in crisis. Over 14 years, that mission has grown into a living ecosystem of 13 interconnected projects—what we call "The Wellness Spiral".
Each project supports the others:
FACR (Funding Advisors Claims Recovery) recovers funds for first responder departments while funding disaster relief and animal rescue
The Franklin Fund invests in veteran and first responder entrepreneurs, creating values-driven businesses
The Green Phoenix Fund revitalizes abandoned spaces into community hubs
Meraki Apothecary brings Earth-based healing to humans and animals
The Dagaz Project offers sanctuary and restoration for trauma survivors
B3 Agriculture grows the food that feeds it all
Matt architected The Guardian Protocols—our proprietary ethical operating system that keeps every project aligned, transparent, and regenerative. We've built the infrastructure. We've refined the model. We've aligned the partnerships.
The Spiral is ready to turn.
The Reality: Timing, Not Failure
In 2022, we signed to purchase 300 acres for The Dagaz Project. We had a major donor committed and believed bridge financing would cover the gap. It didn't. The deal fell through, creating a cascade—unpaid vendors, crippled operations, lost faith from our community.
We were already navigating an 18-month lawsuit against a corrupt medical billing partnership and the fallout from FACR's pandemic-era struggles. It would have been easier to walk away. We didn't.
Instead, we kept building. We kept refining. We kept showing up for the vision even when almost everyone else stopped believing we could pull it off.
Here's what's changed:
A major donor has pledged significant support for Wellness Wishes and is committed to funding the Spiral's expansion. Their capital is currently held up in legal proceedings—a reality that, while frustrating, has given us invaluable time to prepare for rapid deployment once released.
We have donor commitments. We have department partnerships forming. We have entrepreneurs ready to receive Franklin Fund grants during "Invest in a Veteran" week (March 1-7). We have disaster-impacted first responder departments waiting for FACR's services.
What we don't have is the bridge to get there.
The Ask: $10,000 to Maintain Operations Through February
This isn't about starting from zero. This is about keeping the lights on while major capital processes through the courts.
What $10K funds:
Operational expenses (software, legal fees, administrative costs) to keep Wellness Wishes running
Allows me to support my family while maintaining the operational capacity to move forward
Maintains momentum on partnership development, investor outreach, and March campaign launches
Keeps the Spiral turning so we're ready to deploy the moment larger funding arrives
What happens without it: I can keep working—I always do—but the stress fractures are showing. And the projects that could change lives for veterans, first responders, trauma survivors, and animal rescues stay locked in "almost ready" instead of "actively deployed."
Why This Matters Beyond Us
Wellness Wishes isn't a charity case. It's a blueprint for regenerative community transformation.
We're proving that:
Medical billing can [ethically] fund disaster relief
Impact investing can honor ethics AND generate returns
Abandoned spaces can become thriving community hubs
Trauma survivors can find sanctuary without exploitation
Agriculture can feed both people and purpose
This model works. We've spent 14 years building it, testing it, refining it. We're not asking you to fund an idea. We're asking you to bridge a gap for a fully operational system that's ready to scale.
Ohio is just the beginning. We're already in conversations to bring the Spiral to other states, as well as South Africa, and I dream of expanding to Scandinavia. But first, we need to prove it here.
The Promise
When this bridge is crossed:
March 1-7: Franklin Fund launches with "Invest in a Veteran" week grants
March 15: First FACR department partnerships signed and revenue flowing
Spring Equinox: Meraki Apothecary pre-sales launch
2026: Dagaz Project land acquisition moves forward with released donor capital
Beyond: The Spiral expands, replicates, and transforms communities nationwide
Every dollar you contribute keeps that timeline alive.
Join the Bridge
If you believe in mission-driven founders who refuse to quit—even when the odds say they should—this is your moment.
If you believe communities deserve regenerative solutions built on integrity, not exploitation—this is your moment.
If you believe 14 years of relentless work deserves a bridge, not a burial—this is your moment.
Help us keep the Spiral turning.
Transparency Note: 100% of funds raised through this campaign go directly to Wellness Wishes operational expenses and founder support during this bridge period. Once major donor capital is released and operations are fully funded, all future Ko-Fi donations will be directed to project-specific initiatives (Franklin Fund grants, Dagaz Project development, animal rescue operations, etc.). You're not funding a nonprofit's overhead—you're funding a breakthrough.
